Q: Why do collision repairs always seem to cost so much?
A: From the outside, someone may look at their vehicle damage and make assumptions that only one piece or part needs repair. The truth is, there’s a lot of disassembly and reassembly of intricate parts, in order to isolate particular parts for repair and painting. Heritage Collision initially “blueprints” your vehicle so all of the damage can be diagnosed at once, to minimize labor and ensure vehicle safety.
Q: I work the same hours as your shop is open. How do I get as estimate done?
A: If you live within 25 miles of Mt. Pleasant, we will send our mobile estimating unit to your location. We will assess the damage, write the initial estimate, email it to you and upload the estimate to your insurance company. So we can begin the process right in your front yard or garage. We’ll even bring you a loaner vehicle.
Q: I have a small scratch on my hood. Can it just be buffed out?
A: The rule of thumb is that if you can catch your fingernail on the scratch, it can’t just be buffed out. The scratch has exceeded the clear coat and needs to be repainted.[/tab]
